The NFL is back for another season and the biggest game of the year is just around the corner. Super Bowl 2023 Live is set to kick off on February 12 and it’s going to be a thrilling battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
This year’s halftime show is headlined by Rihanna, so it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser! Here’s how to watch it live online:
1. Tom Brady’s Super Bowl Win
Tom Brady has won seven Super Bowls, making him the most successful quarterback in NFL history. With a resume that includes winning an unprecedented fifth title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as being married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, it’s safe to say he is one of the most beloved players in football.
A year after falling short in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, Brady reclaimed his crown in his last game for New England in a surprisingly low-scoring affair. Sony Michel’s rushing touchdown was enough to give the Patriots a 13-3 win over Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams in their only appearance in Super Bowl 53.
2. John Elway’s Super Bowl Win
John Elway is one of the most memorable Super Bowl players ever. He was known for his incredible strength and mobility as a quarterback.
He also had an amazing ability to lead a team and was able to put together some amazing drives. He was also known for his “Helicopter Run” which he used in the Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers.
He was able to lead the Denver Broncos to their first Super Bowl victory and then another one the following year. This is definitely a big accomplishment for him and his team.
3. Eli Manning’s Super Bowl Win
A slew of great players have left their mark on the NFL, but there is no one quite like New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. His career has been full of clutch moments that will live on forever.
He won two Super Bowls in the 2008 and 2012 years, and he also helped lead the Giants to the 2011 NFC Championship game. He has always been a tough player who never gave up, even when it was hard to do so.
He has also thrown for the most touchdowns and completed passes in franchise history. In addition to his record-setting career, he has also won two MVP awards.
4. Dont’a Hightower’s Super Bowl Win
Dont’a Hightower is a veteran linebacker for the New England Patriots and he made some game-changing tackles in this Super Bowl. His sack of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matt Ryan forced a fumble that ultimately helped the Patriots win the game.
Hightower played college football at Alabama, where he was a consensus All-American and won two national championships. He has won three Super Bowls with the Patriots and is an influential player on the team’s defense.
Hightower’s game-changing tackle on Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in Super Bowl XLIX was one of the most memorable plays in the history of the game. It also set up Malcolm Butler’s iconic interception that led to the Patriots’ first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
5. Julian Edelman’s Super Bowl Win
While Tom Brady is the main draw when it comes to New England Patriots’ Super Bowl dynasty, they also had other stellar offensive weapons. One of them is Julian Edelman, who was named the MVP of Super Bowl LIII after a dominating performance against the Los Angeles Rams.
Edelman was selected in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Patriots and made a name for himself as a possession receiver. Over his career, he finished with 620 receptions for 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns.
