London is one of the world’s drift hunters most interesting and vibrant big cities. The one catch is that you usually have to pay to play, and the fees may add up quickly. London, the capital of the United Kingdom, is not merely suggestive of nobility because it is home to high-minded mixology, five-star hotels, and Heston Blumenthal (and, oh yeah, Buckingham Palace and the Parliament). There is a cost associated with maintaining such a lifestyle.
But there isn’t much monotony in this terrain at all. To have a fantastic time in this place, you need not spend a fortune. In fact, there’s a wealth of activities and attractions that won’t cost you a dime. “There is a wealth of free attractions in London,” Rose Wangen-Jones, managing director of Visit London, said to Travel + Leisure. “With over 1,300 attractions, London was recently ranked as having the best and most free in the world.”
